[(Methoxymethoxy)methyl]tributylstannane is a chromatographic reagent used for the separation of ethers. It is an alkylating agent that can react with nucleophiles such as amino groups, hydroxyl groups, thiol groups, and sulfhydryl groups to form alkylsulfonium salts. This compound has been shown to have antagonistic effects on bronchial tissue and causes death in mice.
