CAS:Crolibulin is an active analogue of the naturally occurring protein uroplakin II. Uroplakin II is a tumor-associated antigen that has been shown to be a marker for urothelial carcinoma and other cancers. Crolibulin disrupts the tumor cells by binding to the monoclonal antibody, which can then activate cellular apoptosis signaling pathways. In addition, crolibulin binds to and inhibits cell growth in vitro and in vivo models of cancer. Crolibulin also disrupts the tumor cells by binding to the monoclonal antibody, which can then activate cellular apoptosis signaling pathways. In addition, crolibulin binds to and inhibits cell growth in vitro and in vivo models of cancer. Crolibulin also has been shown to have antitumor response against human carcinoid syndrome cells in culture as well as inhibiting tumor progression in mice bearing human colon adenocarcinoma xenografts.
