It is an imidazole derivative and works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, which is an important component of fungal cell membranes. 2-[4-Chloro-5-cyclopropyl-3-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]acetohydrazide has been shown to have antiinflammatory activity, as well as inhibitory effects on acid production in the stomach.
