Hec1/Nek2 Mitotic Pathway Inhibitor II, INH6 is a natural product that inhibits the mitotic pathway. It has been shown to inhibit angiogenesis in vitro and in vivo by reducing endothelial cell proliferation. Hec1/Nek2 Mitotic Pathway Inhibitor II, INH6 can be used to stabilize and reduce the size of cancerous tumors by inhibiting angiogenesis. The maximal inhibition of the mitotic pathway was observed at an extract concentration of 20 μg/mL with a blood extract concentration of 1 mg/mL. Extracts were analyzed using geometric analysis, which resulted in a reduction process that stabilized the molecule at an optimal level. This suggests that Hec1/Nek2 Mitotic Pathway Inhibitor II, INH6 can be used as an anti-cancer agent for vascularized tumors.

INH6, an effective Hec1 inhibitor, selectively disrupts the Hec1/Nek2 interaction and induces chromosome mis-alignment.
