Ammonium stearate
CAS:Ammonium stearate is a white powder that consists of ammonium cation and stearate anion. It has been shown to have a hypoglycemic effect in rats with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Ammonium stearate may function as a basic protein, which is expected to bind with hydrophobic substances, such as sodium salts, to form an ionic complex. The reaction solution containing ammonium stearate has biological properties that are similar to those of mitochondria, including the ability to maintain mitochondrial membrane potential and enzyme activities. Ammonium stearate also prevents mitochondrial functions from being disrupted by inhibiting dapagliflozin, which is used as a glucose-lowering agent.Formula:C18H39NO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:301.5 g/mol
