It is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which prevents the reuptake of serotonin in the brain, thereby increasing the levels of serotonin. 3-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenoxy]-1-Propanamine also has been shown to be effective in treating depression and anxiety, as well as psychosis. This drug may be used for treatment of depression and other mood disorders, such as bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. 3-[4-(Trifluoromethyl)Phenoxy]-1-Propanamine is also an antidepressant that may help with symptoms caused by neurotransmitter deficiencies or pharmacological treatments.
