3-Hydroxy-1H-indazole

3-Hydroxy-1H-indazole is an isomeric mixture of tautomers. It is a pharmacological agent that has been shown to have strong inhibitory effects on the growth of bacteria, yeast, and fungi. 3-Hydroxy-1H-indazole has also been used to treat inflammatory diseases, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. This compound binds to the target tissue by hydrogen bonding interactions with hydroxyl group or carbonyl group. 3-Hydroxy-1H-indazole is a potent inhibitor of protein synthesis in cells and does not cause toxicity in rats and mice when administered at high doses.
