Color and Shape:MixtureEndosulfan sulfate
CAS:Endosulfan sulfate is a metabolic inhibitor that inhibits the activity of a variety of enzymes, including those involved in energy metabolism. The inhibition of these enzymes leads to metabolic disorders and neurodegeneration. Endosulfan sulfate binds to sulfhydryl groups on proteins, but also reacts with anhydrous sodium sulfate, which prevents its re-dissolution in water. This compound has been shown to be toxic for bacteria and can be used as a preservative for food products. It has also been shown to have adverse effects on animals at high doses; however, it is not known whether this compound causes cancer in humans. The analytical method for endosulfan sulfate is based on the use of CD-1 mice for sample preparation and an x-ray crystal structure analysis.Formula:C9H6Cl6O4SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:422.92 g/molSingle Column Analytes Mix 4 2000 µg/mL in Toluene/Hexane
