DL-Thyronine
CAS:L-Thyronine is a hormone that is synthesized and secreted by the thyroid gland. It regulates growth, development, and metabolism. Thyroid hormones are important in the regulation of basal metabolic rate and oxygen consumption. L-Thyronine has been shown to increase cardiac output, protein synthesis, and pluripotent cells proliferation. L-Thyronine has also been shown to have a beneficial effect on systolic pressure by increasing the uptake of sodium potassium ATPase in mammalian tissue. L-Thyronine is used as a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) substrate for DNA amplification assays because it can be easily converted into an oxidized form with a hydroxyl group at C-3 that can be detected by HPLC or UV spectrophotometry. This makes it suitable for use in vitro methods such as DNA sequencing or polymerase chain reactions (PCR). L-Thyronine is also used as an energy substrate in the humanFormula:C15H15NO4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:273.28 g/molRef: 3D-FT37549
