CAS:1-(2,4-Difluorophenyl)-6,7-Difluoro-1,4-Dihydro-4-Oxoquinoline-3-Carboxylic Acid (1) is a drug substance that is an ethyl ester of 1,4-dihydroquinoline. It has been shown to have potent antihistamine properties and was found to be a new class of histamine Hreceptor antagonist. The purity of the compound was determined by HPLC and quantitated in citrate buffer at pH 4.5 using UV detection at 254 nm. The impurities were detected with a HPLC system equipped with an isocratic eluent.
