CAS:Daidzein 7-b-D-glucuronide 4'-sulfate disodium salt (DAI) is a flavonoid that has significant antioxidant activity and is an inhibitor of the release of inflammatory cytokines. DAI has been shown to inhibit the production of necrotizing factor (NF)-κB and induce apoptosis in cultured dendritic cells. It also possesses anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit phagocytosis and degranulation of mast cells. The major metabolites of DAI are glucuronides, sulfates, or sulfonates.
