N-(4-Amino-2-methylphenyl)benzamide
CAS:N-(4-Amino-2-methylphenyl)benzamide (NAPB) is a molecule inhibitor that is designed to inhibit the activity of multiple targets. It inhibits the activity of the enzymes COX and LOX, which are proinflammatory enzymes that are involved in the production of prostaglandins and leukotrienes, respectively. NAPB also has been shown to be an effective antidepressant in animal models. This drug binds to a pharmacophore that exhibits high affinity for both COX and LOX, inhibiting their enzymatic activity by binding at nanomolar concentrations. These properties make NAPB a multitargeted agent with the potential for use against inflammation and depression.Formula:C14H14N2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:226.27 g/molRef: 3D-FA117199
