2-Amino-3-iodopyridine
CAS:2-Amino-3-iodopyridine is a synthetic small molecule that has the potential to be used as an anti-fungal agent. It binds to the tyrosine kinase receptor, which is important in the growth and development of fungi, such as Cryptococcus neoformans. 2-Amino-3-iodopyridine inhibits the tyrosine kinase by covalent binding to the pyridine ring, thereby inhibiting the receptor's activity. This drug also has a high inhibitory effect on dopamine receptors and may be useful for treating Parkinson's disease.
