Silafluofen
CAS:Silafluofen is a trifluoroacetic acid derivative of cyhalothrin that is used as a biocide for insect control. It has been shown to be effective against a variety of insects and it is not toxic to mammals. Silafluofen binds to the insect's exoskeleton, which prevents the release of key enzymes that are necessary for metabolism. This disrupts the insect's physiology, leading to death. Silafluofen has been shown to have no genotoxic effects on mammalian cells in vitro, but does lead to cell death in some types of bacteria in vitro.Formula:C25H29FO2SiPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:408.58 g/mol
