Difluoromethylenediphosphonic acid
CAS:Difluoromethylenediphosphonic acid is a prodrug that is activated by the addition of fluoride ions. It inhibits tyrosine phosphatases, which are enzymes that catalyze the hydrolysis of phosphate groups from proteins. Difluoromethylenediphosphonic acid is also an analog of vitamin B1 and has been shown to inhibit insulin sensitivity in animals. Difluoromethylenediphosphonic acid can be used as a linker for peptide-based drugs and has optical properties that make it useful in biochemistry applications such as DNA sequencing, detection of single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), and homology modeling.Formula:CH4F2O6P2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:211.98 g/molDifluoromethylenediphosphonic Acid
