    CAS:
    Boc-D-Lys-OH is a synthetic analog of lysine that can be used as an apoptotic agent. It binds to the histone protein H2A, which leads to cell death by inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein synthesis. Boc-D-Lys-OH has shown significant anti-cancer activity in vitro and in vivo. It has been shown to be a good candidate for use as a chemotherapeutic drug due to its ability to induce apoptosis in cells with high levels of lysine, such as tumor cells. Boc-D-Lys-OH also reacts with nucleophilic sites on proteins and inhibits the synthesis of proteins involved in cell division.
