2-Amino-5-methylbenzaldehyde
CAS:2-Amino-5-methylbenzaldehyde is an organic compound and a subunit of many naturally occurring compounds. Oxychloride salts of 2-amino-5-methylbenzaldehyde have been used as fluorescence indicators. The physicochemical properties of 2-amino-5-methylbenzaldehyde have been monitored using macrocyclic compounds. Macrocycles are cyclic molecules composed of three or more rings, with each ring containing at least one heteroatom (such as nitrogen, oxygen, or sulfur). Zn2+ ions bind to the macrocyclic compounds in 2-amino-5-methylbenzaldehyde, which can be used to detect zinc ions in solution. Macrocyclic compounds are also present in natural products such as nucleotides (e.g., adenosine triphosphate) and dibenzophenanthroline (a pigment).Formula:C8H9NOPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:135.16 g/mol
