Quinine N-oxide
CAS:Quinine N-oxide (QNO) is a molecule that contains an organic compound and a peroxide. It has been shown to have oxidation products, which are generated by chemical ionization, or by organocatalysts in the presence of hydrogen peroxide. QNO inhibits the growth of bacteria such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus, with the latter being more resistant to this drug. QNO also has been shown to have anticancer activities in humans. The human urinary metabolite of QNO is quinine.Formula:C20H24N2O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:340.42 g/mol
