9-epi-artemisinin
CAS:9-epi-artemisinin is a polyvalent drug with a synergistic interaction with other antimalarial drugs. It has been shown to have potentiation effects on drugs such as chloroquine and pyrimethamine. 9-epi-artemisinin is also able to inhibit the growth of bacteria that are resistant to tetracyclines, rifampicins, and sulfonamides. This compound was found to be active against Mycobacterium tuberculosis in vitro and in vivo. 9-epi-artemisinin has been shown to have an inhibitory effect against the synthesis of DNA, RNA and protein by inhibiting the enzyme ribonucleotide reductase. This compound also inhibits cell division by preventing the formation of microtubules at the site of cell division.Formula:C15H22O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:282.33 g/mol9-epi-Artemisinin
