4-Amino-2-Fluorobut-2-Enoic Acid
CAS:4-Amino-2-fluorobutanoic acid is a nature amino acid that has been shown to denature proteins. It acts as an acceptor in a nucleophilic attack with mercury(II) chloride, and can be activated by mercuric chloride. 4-Amino-2-fluorobutanoic acid also exhibits second order rate constants for the reaction of nucleophilic attack on chloride ions. The γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) receptor is activated by 4-amino-2-fluorobutanoic acid, which leads to inhibition of the release of neurotransmitters, such as glutamate and dopamine. This may result in treatments for diseases such as epilepsy or Parkinson's disease.Formula:C4H6FNO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:119.09 g/mol
