    Boc-L-Arg-OH.HCl.H2O is a methyl-arginine analog that is thought to be the primary endogenous agonist for the guanyl cyclase C receptor. Boc-L-Arg-OH.HCl has been shown to have anti-tumor effects by inhibiting DNA synthesis, protein synthesis, and cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo at low concentrations.
