The synthesis of (2S,4R)-1-Boc-4-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-2-(hydroxymethyl)pyrrolidine ee is an enantiodivergent process. The starting material for this synthesis is tert-butyl acetate and the target compound is the racemic mixture of (2S,4R)-1-Boc-4-(tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy)-2-(hydroxymethyl)pyrrolidine ee.
