MK-571 sodium
CAS:MK-571 is a drug that belongs to the class of ATP-binding cassette transporters. MK-571 has been shown to inhibit multidrug efflux pumps, such as P-glycoprotein (P-gp), and to bind DNA. The optimum concentration of this drug is 0.1 μM, which can be achieved by using MK-571 with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). This agent has been shown to have a protective effect on the myocardium following a myocardial infarct and may also have an inhibitory effect on leukotriene synthesis in bowel disease. MK-571 has also been shown to inhibit polymerase chain reactions and may act as an inhibitor of apical secretions in the gastrointestinal tract.Formula:C26H27ClN2NaO3S2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:538.08 g/molPropanoic acid, 3-[[[3-[2-(7-chloro-2-quinolinyl)ethenyl]phenyl][[3-(dimethylamino)-3-oxopropyl]thio]methyl]thio]-, sodium salt, (E)- (9CI)
