  • Tubeimoside III

    CAS:
Tubeimoside III is a natural product. It is a low potency hydroxyl analog of tubeimoside II and has been shown to have bioactivities including anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects. Tubeimoside III has been shown to inhibit the growth of Bolbostematis, an endophytic fungus that causes leaf spot on plants. Tubeimoside III also inhibits the proliferation of HL-60 cells through induction of apoptosis. The compound has been found to be orally active in mice and has also been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice when administered by intraperitoneal injection. The anti-cancer activity may be due to its ability to inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis.
