    CAS:
3-[2-[4-(4-Fluorobenzoyl)-1-oxidopiperidin-1-yl]ethyl]-2,7-dimethylpyrido[2,1-b]pyrimidin-4-one (7FPP) is a polyfunctional molecule that exhibits anions and cations. It is a reactive compound and has been characterized by laser spectroscopy and microprobe analysis. 7FPP has been shown to be an effective scavenger of oxygenated molecules such as peroxides, hydroperoxides, and peroxyacids. 7FPP also has the ability to desorb cations from surfaces such as aluminum oxide and silicon dioxide. Rationally designing 7FPP with different functionalities will allow for the optimization of its properties.
