CAS:2,5-Difluoro-4-Nitrophenol is a potent inhibitor of the isopropyl group. It is an anion with a pKa of 3.2 and a molecular weight of 176 g/mol. 2,5-Difluoro-4-Nitrophenol has good solubility in water, but is poorly soluble in organic solvents such as acetone or ethyl acetate. It can be used as a reagent to probe the binding of albumin and glutathione to their ligands by reacting with protein sulfhydryl groups and forming fluorescent derivatives. The fluorescence profiles for the reaction products are sensitive to changes in pH, which allows them to be used as pH probes. In addition, 2,5-difluoro-4 nitrophenol binds to serum albumin and alters its physicochemical properties. These reactions change the parameters that are important for cellular function.Formula:C6H3F2NO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:175.09 g/mol
