Naphtho[2,1-d][1,3]thiazol-2-amine
CAS:Naphtho[2,1-d][1,3]thiazol-2-amine is a membrane potential modulator that can dilate blood vessels and increase the membrane potential. The functional group of the molecule is an amine with a trifluoromethyl group. This drug has been shown to be pharmacologically active in vivo in an animal model. It also has been studied using nmr spectroscopy and found to have two activated forms: one with a calcium ion and one without. These forms are distinguished by their reaction yields. The drug has been shown to cause carotid artery dilation in vivo and was found to be effective at lowering blood pressure in vitro.Formula:C11H8N2SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:200.26 g/molNaphtho[2,1- d ]thiazol-2-ylamine
