Gelucire 44/14
CAS:Gelucire 44/14 is a pluronic block copolymer composed of a polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene glycol with an acyl chain. It is used as an absorption enhancer and excipient in pharmaceuticals, especially for small-molecule drugs that are not water-soluble. The drug is dispersed as particles and mixed with crystalline cellulose (CC) to produce a uniform mixture that is then compressed into tablets or capsules. CC acts as an antiadherent, preventing the adhesion of the drug particles to each other during compression. Gelucire 44/14 also has the ability to inhibit enzymes that are involved in lipid metabolism and prostaglandin synthesis.Purity:Min. 90%Lauroyl Polyoxylglycerides 1500
