CAS:The immobilization of (2-aminoethyl)[11-(trimethoxysilyl)undecyl]amine (AETSU) on a semiconducting surface has been investigated by x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. AETSU is a long-chain, monolayer covalently immobilized at the surface termini of an electron-transparent substrate. This sensor was found to be reversibly immobilized and showed high efficiencies for the detection of organic compounds in wastewater.
