Basic Red 14
CAS:Basic Red 14 is a synthetic dye that is used as a food additive and in the textile industry. It is an acid complex that has a particle size of less than 10 microns. Basic Red 14 reacts with hydrochloric acid to form a reactive, soluble salt. The optical sensor can be used to identify the presence of this pigment in water samples. Basic Red 14 binds to maternal blood cells and interacts with cell factor and stem cell factor (SCF). This interaction causes the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) to be activated, which produces DNA from the disulfide bond and hydroxyl group. The fatty acid component of Basic Red 14 may also stimulate phagocytosis by neutrophils.Formula:C23H26ClN3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:379.93 g/mol
