CAS:Ethyl caproate is a type of ester that is used in the synthesis of other chemicals. Ethyl caproate has been shown to be an optimum concentration for water permeability and can be used as a model system for the study of HIV infection. This compound binds to RNA polymerase II, which is required for the transcription of DNA into RNA. In addition, it inhibits the polymerase chain reaction by binding to the enzyme’s active site and prevents DNA replication. The ethyl decanoate monomer reacts with hydrogen fluoride in a preparative high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method to produce ethyl caproate as a pure product. Ethyl caproate also has biochemical properties such as inhibition of protein synthesis and induction of apoptosis.Formula:C8H16O2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Clear LiquidMolecular weight:144.21 g/molEthyl Hexanoate
