CAS:Controlled Product1-Methylhexylamine is a chemical compound that has been shown to be an effective treatment for inflammatory bowel disease. It works by activating the H1 receptor, which blocks the production of proinflammatory cytokines and reduces inflammation. 1-Methylhexylamine also has anti-inflammatory effects and can inhibit the growth of bacteria in vitro. This compound can be used as an analog for histamine in sample preparation, where it is used to reduce hydrochloric acid from acidic samples. The uptake of 1-methylhexylamine into cells is pH dependent and can be enhanced by adding sodium citrate or redox potential. 1-Methylhexylamine has been shown to cause symptoms such as headache, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, and depression when it is injected or ingested at high doses. Toxicity studies have shown that this drug may cause liver damage and kidney failure at high doses.Formula:C7H17NPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:115.22 g/mol1-Methylhexylamine
