Rotigotine is a drug that belongs to the group of dopamine-receptor agonists. It has been used in Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, such as restless legs syndrome. Rotigotine binds to the dopamine receptor in the brain, which causes an increase in dopaminergic activity in the central nervous system.
