Indiumtrichloride
CAS:Indiumtrichloride is a reactive and toxic chemical that is used in the production of epoxides, coumarin derivatives, and allylation. It reacts with hydroxyl groups to form quinoline derivatives. Indiumtrichloride also reacts with amines to form chloroamines, which are used in the manufacture of pesticides and pharmaceuticals. Indiumtrichloride is activated by reaction with water or alcohols. When it reacts with a chloride, it produces an epoxide. The reaction mechanism for this process is nucleophilic attack on the carbon-chlorine bond. The products are fatty acids and nucleophilic compounds such as amines.Formula:Cl3InPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:221.18 g/molRef: 3D-FI153576
