BAPTA, Tetrasodium Salt is also used as a fluorescent probe for cell-membrane labeling and has been successfully used in the study of leukemia cells. BAPTA, Tetrasodium Salt can be used for the treatment of humans with chronic pain, but it also has some side effects such as nausea and vomiting.
