  • Sulfamonomethoxine-d4

    Sulfamonomethoxine-d4 is a water-soluble, formic acid derivative of sulfamethoxazole. It is synthesized by the reaction of sulfamethoxazole with diazomethane and is used to determine the concentration of formic acid in muscle tissue. Sulfamonomethoxine-d4 is stable at cryogenic temperatures, allowing for its use in research. This compound has a linear response over the range of 0.5 to 10 μg/mL, enabling it to be used as an analysis method for monitoring multiple reactions at once. The residue can be monitored by electron analysis or gas chromatography after single or multiple reactions have occurred.
