7-Methylpterin
CAS:7-Methylpterin is an intermediate in the synthesis of sepiapterin, which is a cofactor for tetrahydrofolate (THF) synthase. Sepiapterin is synthesized from two molecules of 7-methylpterin and one molecule of glyceraldehyde 3-phosphate. The enzyme preparations for this reaction are glycosidases, phosphoglycerate kinase, and glycerate kinase. This product has been found to be active at acidic pHs and can serve as a fluorescent probe for acid analysis.Formula:C7H7N5OPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:177.16 g/molRef: 3D-FM25942
