Tetradecyl lactate
CAS:Tetradecyl lactate is a fatty acid that is used as an excipient in the production of pharmaceutical preparations. It has been shown to have antimicrobial properties, which are likely due to its ability to inactivate enzymes such as metalloproteases and other enzymes involved in bacterial cell wall synthesis.
