It also has cationic surfactant properties and a hydroxyl group. Sodium 2-((4-(hydroxybis(4-(phenylamino)phenyl)methyl)phenyl)amino)benzenesulfonate has been shown to have no adverse effects on human serum and has been used as an analytical method for fatty acid content in various substances. The chemical stability of this detergent composition has also been tested, showing it to be stable for at least one month under both sunlight and radiation. This detergent can also be used as an antimicrobial agent when combined with other agents such as optical sensors or metal chelates.
