CAS:Formula:C10H11Bf4N2O2Molecular weight:278.0112 G/Mol4-Butanoyloxybenzenediazonium Tetrafluoroborate
CAS:4-Butanoyloxybenzenediazonium Tetrafluoroborate is a fluoroborate that has discriminative properties. It is used in the determination of butyrylcholinesterase activity and to study the environment of the active site. 4-Butanoyloxybenzenediazonium Tetrafluoroborate reacts with propidium to form an affinity label, which can be detected by measuring fluorescence intensity. The binding site on acetylcholinesterase is positioned at the side of the enzyme opposite to the substrate (a quaternary ammonium salt). Inactivation occurs when pH levels are too high or too low. This inhibitor also binds to a region on the enzyme other than its active site, which prevents acetylcholine from binding and hydrolyzing choline esters.Formula:C10H11BF4N2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:278.01 g/mol
