CAS:Aluminum hydroxide hydrate is a white powder with a chemical formula of Al(OH)3. It has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect and inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in wild-type mice. The mechanism for this effect may be due to aluminum's ability to bind to the carboxy terminal of TNF-α and interfere with its interaction with receptors. Aluminum hydroxide hydrate is also used in histological analysis of colorectal carcinomas and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, which are used for the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease and osteoarthritis, respectively.Formula:Al(OH)3•(H2O)xPurity:Min. 95%
