    Cerium(III) phosphate is a compound that has been shown to have antimicrobial activity and is an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of organic molecules. It is stable in various solvents and has a high chemical resistance. Cerium(III) phosphate has been used as a solid catalyst for the synthesis of organic molecules, including phenols, alcohols, amines, and other organic compounds. It has also been used as a catalyst in oxidation reactions that are carried out on the surface of metal particles. Cerium(III) phosphate can be prepared by reacting cerium(IV) oxide with phosphoric acid or ammonium phosphate. This compound forms well-defined crystalline structures with particle sizes varying from 10 to 300 nm in diameter. The reaction mechanism involves the formation of ceria-phosphate clusters through hydrogen bonding between water vapor and the hydroxyl groups on the phosphate ligands. These clusters then react with magnesium salt or sodium carbonate to form cerium(III) oxide
