CAS:Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that binds to the L-type calcium channels in the heart and blood vessels. It prevents the influx of extracellular calcium and reduces the excitability of these cells. Amlodipine is used to treat hypertension, angina, and other cardiovascular disorders. The chromatographic conditions for elution were optimized by changing the mobile phase composition of acetonitrile to formic acid (0.1% w/v) in water (0.1% v/v) over a linear gradient with a flow rate of 1 mL/min at 30°C on an LC-18 column with UV detection at 254 nm. The drug-drug interaction between amlodipine and metoprolol was evaluated using liquid chromatography with tandem mass spectrometry analysis. Linearity was determined using rat plasma samples diluted in phosphate buffer pH 7.4 containing formic acid (0.1% w/v).Formula:C20H21ClD4N2O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:412.9 g/mol(S)-Amlodipine-d4
