CAS:4-(4-Bromophenyl)-1H-imidazole is a byproduct of the synthesis of 4-bromo-1H-imidazole. It has been found to be a potent carcinogen in rats, resulting in the formation of alkylation products such as heterocyclic amines and nucleophilic reaction products. It has also been shown to cause erythrocyte hemolysis, which can lead to kidney damage. This impurity is produced by the irradiation of sodium salts, rationalized through stereoselective alkylation, amines, and heterocyclic amines. The luminescence properties of 4-(4-bromophenyl)-1H-imidazole have also been studied for use in devices and techniques for detecting impurities in pharmaceuticals.Formula:C9H7BrN2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:223.07 g/molRef: 3D-FB54276
