CAS:H-Ile-Trp-OH is an acetylcholine esterase inhibitor that has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity against lorazepam. It binds to the active site of the enzyme, preventing it from breaking down acetylcholine and other neurotransmitters in the brain. H-Ile-Trp-OH is also a potent inhibitor of stenotrophomonas maltophilia, which is a bacterium found in chronic bronchitis patients.
