CAS:N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-benzylamine is a selective, antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of Gram-positive bacteria and fungi. It is a primary amine with potential use as an antineoplastic agent. N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-benzylamine has been shown to be effective against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). This compound is also an intermediate in the synthesis of cisplatin, which is an anticancer drug. N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-benzylamine binds to DNA and causes it to unwind, thereby inhibiting DNA replication.Formula:C10H16N2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:164.25 g/molRef: 3D-FA117961
