CAS:Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic that inhibits bacterial growth by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit. It is used in veterinary medicine to treat respiratory infections caused by Clostridium perfringens and other bacteria. Tylosin has been shown to inhibit the production of tumour necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and serum enzymes, such as dismutase activity, in mice with lung cancer. This drug also has a toxic effect on respiratory system cells, which may be due to its ability to induce apoptosis. The biochemical composition of tylosin includes a complex enzyme, which binds to 16S ribosomal RNA and prevents protein synthesis. These effects are potentiated when tylosin is combined with tilmicosin, forming a polymerase chain reaction that leads to cell death by inhibiting RNA synthesis. The matrix effect can be observed in untreated groups that have been administered tylosin at doses of 1 mg/kg for fiveFormula:C46H77NO17Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:916.1 g/molRef: 3D-BAA40169
