4-Bromo-1-methyl-1H-imidazole-5-carbaldehyde
CAS:4-Bromo-1-methyl-1H-imidazole-5-carbaldehyde (4BMICA) is a prodrug that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by binding to the active site residues of the protein guanine nucleotide exchange factor (GEF) mcf-7. It is an analog of etoposide, which can act as a competitive inhibitor for the GEF. 4BMICA binds to and inhibits the activity of epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). This drug has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, as it inhibits lipid peroxidation and protein tyrosine nitration in rat liver microsomes.Formula:C5H5BrN2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:189.01 g/mol1H-Imidazole-5-carboxaldehyde, 4-bromo-1-methyl-
