D-Myo-inositol-1,4,5-trisphosphate tripotassium
CAS:D-Myo-inositol-1,4,5-trisphosphate tripotassium (IP3) is an endogenous compound that is involved in the regulation of intracellular calcium levels. IP3 binds to and activates G protein coupled receptors on the cell surface, stimulating phospholipase C to produce diacylglycerol and inositol triphosphate. Diacylglycerol can activate protein kinase C and stimulate the release of calcium from intracellular stores. IP3 is a potentiator of tyrosine kinase activity and may also act as a transcriptional regulator by binding to regulatory sites on DNA. IP3 has been shown to induce changes in gene expression in tissues such as liver, heart, and kidney. It has also been implicated in the pathology of autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. The drug target for IP3 is currently unknown.Formula:C6H12K3O15P3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:534.37 g/molRef: 3D-RFA61111
