CAS 1417456-04-2: 2-Amino-6-fluoro-N-phenylbenzamide

2-Amino-6-fluoro-N-phenylbenzamide is a chiral diamide that is produced by the scalable synthesis of 2,6-difluorobenzoyl chloride and 2-aminoaniline. This compound has been shown to have anti-tumour activity in two different xenograft models. The enantiomers of this compound have also been synthesized and evaluated for their biological activities. The enantiomer with the better biological potency was identified as the (+)-enantiomer. The impurity profiles were determined to be acceptable for use in pharmaceuticals, with the exception of one nitro group that was observed at low levels. This nitro group may be removed in future syntheses.
